This product is not a kit but an aftermarket detail set. It contains 3D-printed, fully colored interior elements on thin carrier decal paper. They complete the cockpit of a model of the export Curtiss Hawk 75 fighter in the M, N and O versions in 1:48 scale with a convincing instrument panel, side consoles and cockpit details.
The Curtiss Hawk 75 was an American fighter from which the later P-36 was derived. The simplified export M, N and O versions had fixed landing gear in streamlined fairings and were delivered to a number of countries outside the United States. They flew in the colors of several air forces at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s and make a less usual and all the more interesting subject.
The individual elements are cut out of the sheet, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the carrier paper straight onto the cockpit parts. They have no adhesive layer of their own: they hold on a surface coated beforehand with a gloss (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22); on textured places a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin.
This is an accessory for a model, not a standalone kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
