An injection-molded plastic kit of the German two-seat Halberstadt CL.II ground attack aircraft of the First World War period in 1:48 scale from Mirage Hobby. The set is marked by fine detail, rich decal sheets and photo-etched parts. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Halberstadt CL.II was a German two-seat biplane of the First World War, designed as a light escort and ground attack aircraft. It proved itself in attacks on ground targets, with the observer working a flexible machine gun and able to drop small bombs. Thanks to its agility and good teamwork between the crew it ranked among the capable machines of its category.
This is a fine biplane model suited to more experienced modelers. Paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage and prepare the struts and bracing. Use thin cement on the plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Rigging the wires raises the fidelity markedly. Apply a primer before painting and work with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
