An injection-molded plastic kit of the German two-seat biplane Halberstadt CL.II of the First World War period in 1:48 scale from the Polish brand Mirage Hobby. The model offers a fine covering texture, detailed crew cockpits and decals for period German finishes.
The Halberstadt CL.II was a German light two-seat combat biplane committed in the closing stage of the First World War. It served as an escort and ground-attack aircraft for supporting ground units and for attacking ground targets. It was marked by good agility and by the effective cooperation of the pilot and the rear gunner.
Building a biplane of the First World War period calls for patience with gluing the struts and stretching the bracing wires. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. Period fabric surfaces and the so-called lozenge patterns come out best with an airbrush, or with lozenge decals if they are included in the box.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
