A more extensive accessory set for a Harrier GR.7 aircraft kit in 1:48 scale. The parts are glued with super glue; their placement is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Harrier GR.7 is a British ground-attack aircraft of the second generation of the Harrier family, capable of vertical and short takeoff thanks to rotating nozzles that direct the thrust. The GR.7 form was adapted for attacks in darkness. The broken-up surface, the open air intakes and the densely loaded space under the fuselage make this aircraft a rewarding but demanding subject.
This is a more extensive accessory set for a kit in 1:48 scale that covers several places on the aircraft at once. The exact make-up, the part numbers and their placement are given in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with it, and the extent of the rework of the plastic parts follows them as well.
The parts are not polystyrene and are joined with super glue or epoxy. Cut the excess material and the production marks away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the surface. Dry-fit the parts first and only then glue them. Before painting, wash them in lukewarm soapy water, let them dry and spray them with primer; the finish holds considerably better on a degreased surface.
The set is intended for modelers who want to take the detail of the Harrier beyond the injection-molded kit and who have experience of fitting accessory parts. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
