Bronco 1:350 Type 052D Destroyer (173) Changsha is a plastic kit of a modern guided missile destroyer of the PLA Navy.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a modern surface ship in 1:350 scale from Bronco. The package contains plastic parts, a photo-etched fret, decals, a display stand and clear parts for the shipborne Ka-28 helicopter, whose rotors can be built folded or spread. The hull can be assembled as a full hull or to the waterline. It is a kit of medium difficulty with a large number of small parts.
The Type 052D is a modern guided missile destroyer of the PLA Navy. The ship carries a large panel radar with fixed arrays, vertical missile launch cells and shaping that reduces its radar signature. At the stern it has a landing deck for a helicopter. The individual ship Changsha, with hull number 173, belongs to this latest generation of Chinese destroyers.
Decide in advance whether you are building the full-hull version or a waterline model on the stand. Bend the photo-etched railings precisely and glue them with super glue. Spray the hull and the superstructure with an airbrush and pick out the panel lines and details with a fine wash. Add the shipborne helicopter and the small antennas only at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
