1:72 Bf-109G-6 LooK is a finished resin instrument panel for the Gustav in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The LooK line from Eduard solves the most tiresome small job of the whole build in a small scale. The panel is cast in resin, the instruments have a glossy imitation of their glasses and the surface is finished in color, so there is neither painting nor decaling to do. The modeler only cleans it, dry-fits it and glues it in.
The Bf 109G-6 was the most numerous form of the whole Bf 109 family. Its recognition features are the bulges on the engine cowling, called for by the larger 13 mm machine guns, and the cannon firing through the propeller hub. The cockpit stayed tight and heavily glazed, so even in a small scale more can be seen inside through the frames than the builder would wish.
Cut away the original plastic part and level the area with a file, otherwise the new panel will push the whole tub backward. Wash the resin in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent before gluing, so no mold release agent is left on the surface. It is glued in spots with super glue, which must not run onto the instrument glasses. We recommend assembling the model dry with a rubber band and checking that the fuselage still closes.
This is not an aircraft model but a replacement part for the cockpit of a plastic kit.
