A resin detail set from Aires in 1:48 scale for replacing the cockpit of the plastic kit of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter. The set replaces the out-of-the-box interior with an accurate cockpit featuring the tubular frame structure, an instrument panel, side consoles and a seat. It is not an airplane model but an aftermarket accessory for more experienced modelers.
The Hurricane Mk.I was the early version of the British fighter and formed the backbone of British fighter defense at the start of the Second World War. Its distinctive feature was the tubular fuselage frame covered with fabric at the rear.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. An interior with the frame structure on show comes alive after shading and drybrushing. Finish the cockpit before closing the fuselage.
This is a resin accessory. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
