Eduard 1:48 Hs 123 is a pre-colored photo-etched set for the detailed improvement of a model of the German ground-attack biplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
It is not a kit but a supplementary photo-etched set in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. Some of the parts are printed in color from the factory (typically the instrument panel, the side panels and the harness belts), and the remaining parts are in bare etched brass to be painted. The set adds fine details to the cockpit and to the exterior of a kind that cannot be injection-molded in plastic.
The Henschel Hs 123 was a German single-seat ground-attack and dive-bombing biplane of the 1930s. Although it was already considered obsolete at the start of the war, its toughness and its ability to operate from field strips kept it in action on the Eastern Front far longer than had been expected.
The colored photo-etched parts are self-adhesive or are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; degrease the bare brass parts first and spray them with primer, then paint them. Bend the small parts with a photo-etch bending tool or with two blades. Given the open cockpit of a biplane, the details come out especially well.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
