1:48 Hurricane Mk. II LööK

Eduard 1:48 Hurricane Mk. II LööK

This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory from the LööK range by Eduard in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the instrument panel and the seat belts in the cockpit of a Hawker Hurricane Mk. II model. It contains a color printed resin instrument panel with realistic dials under a clear layer, and metal (steel) seat belts.

The real subject

The Hawker Hurricane Mk. II was a British fighter of the Second World War; the Mk. II version was built in a number of sub-versions differing in armament. A carefully detailed cockpit is therefore clearly visible on the finished model.

Use

• The color panel is fitted in place of the part from the kit, practically without any further painting.
• The steel belts are bent and glued to the seat for a faithful look of the restraint system.
• Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) is recommended for small metal and resin parts.

Who it is for

• Modelers who want to raise the level of cockpit detail quickly without painting the instruments.
• Builders of Hurricane Mk. II models in 1:48 scale.

The accessory does not contain the model itself. Check the fit against your particular kit.
