Self-adhesive Peewit painting masks for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in 1:48 scale make it easier to spray the canopy frames and the adjoining areas accurately. This is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely pre-cut self-adhesive painting masks for masking the glazing and the canopy frames when spraying. The masks make painting faster and more accurate, so that the resulting edges of the frames are sharp and free of paint bleed. The real subject is the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter. This is not a kit but an accessory that makes painting a particular model easier. The manufacturer is Peewit.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-engine fighter which, together with the Spitfire, bore the main burden of the defense during the Battle of Britain. The Mk.I version was an early variant with the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, and in the first years of the war it shot down a large share of the enemy machines. Its structure combined a tubular frame with fabric covering over the rear part of the fuselage.
The masks are supplied without paints; paints and glue are not included in the package.
