This set is NOT an airplane model but a detailed 3D printed accessory for the plastic kit of the German Junkers Ju 88 bomber in 1:48 scale. It replaces the original engine nacelle radiators with faithful 3D printed parts and is intended for the A-4, A-11, A-14 and C-6 versions. The fine parts are meant for experienced modelers. The parts are designed as a replacement for the radiators on the Ju 88 kit from ICM.
The annular radiators on the front of the Ju 88 engine nacelles are very much in view, and their finned structure is made in a simplified form in plastic. Accurate 3D printing captures the fine finning and the depth of the radiator, so the front of the nacelles gains a realistic look without laborious extra work.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports with a sharp knife and nippers, and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the fine fins and accentuate them with a thin wash before the final fitting onto the nacelles.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
