This is a modeling accessory intended for painting the clear parts. According to the name it is the double-sided variant, that is, with coverage of the outer and the inner surface of the glazing. That comes in handy everywhere the cockpit will be visible, with a canopy slid back, with open doors or when finishing a model with a crew figure. The masks are cut for the ICM kit.

The machine the set belongs to

During the war the Junkers Ju 88 turned from a fast bomber into a whole family of derived types. The C series meant a solid nose with fixed armament and use in the role of a heavy and night fighter. The C-6 version was built in the greatest numbers and its crews operated over the Atlantic, over the Mediterranean and in the night defense of the interior. For a model that means an interesting camouflage scheme and a great deal of glazing in the rear part of the cockpit.

Building recommendation

• Accentuate the engraved lines of the frames before the work; you will hit them more easily.
• Fit the templates for both sides in one working step.
• Choose the interior shade according to the scheme you want on the model.
• Keep the airbrush further from the surface and lower the pressure, so that it does not blow under the edge.
• Before you take the masks off, check that the paint is no longer tacky.
