This set from the Hungarian brand AIMS contains water-slide decals with technical labels, the markings of the fuel cells and of the access hatches on the fuselage and wings of the Junkers Ju-88 bomber in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an additional sheet of small markings which help to give a model a faithful, in-service look.
The Junkers Ju-88 was one of the most versatile German combat aircraft of the Second World War; it served as a dive and level bomber, a reconnaissance aircraft and a night fighter. It is exactly the fine labels by the fuel and service hatches that are among the details which on the real machine drew the attention of the ground crew.
Cut the individual labels out, dip them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto a gloss surface prepared with a clear coat. With small decals a softener helps particularly, so that they settle into the panel lines and no carrier film remains visible.
This is an accessory; the model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
