An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese special attack aircraft Nakajima Ki-115 Tsurugi in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. The box contains gray plastic, clear parts and photo-etched elements for refining the detail; decals for period markings are included with the model. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Ki-115 Tsurugi (Sabre) was a simple single-seat aircraft developed by the Japanese Army Air Force at the very end of the Second World War in 1945 for suicide (kamikaze) attacks. The design was deliberately made as simple and cheap to produce as possible, with fixed landing gear that was jettisoned after takeoff. Over a hundred aircraft were built, but none was committed to action before the war ended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
