This resin accessory contains blanking covers for the air intakes, the so-called FOD covers, for models of the Aero L-29 Delfin jet trainer in 1:48 scale. In reality they are fitted over the intakes of a parked aircraft to keep foreign objects out of the engine. It is not a model of the aircraft but a striking accessory for showing a machine on a stand or in a diorama.
Cut the covers from the casting block and clean them up. They fit over the air intakes and are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). They are usually painted in a bright warning color, often with Remove Before Flight lettering, which adds to the authenticity. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
