An accessory photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, intended for refining a model of the L-39C Albatros trainer and light combat aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit, but a set of fine metal parts that lifts a model above the level of the box contents.
The Aero L-39 Albatros is a Czechoslovak jet trainer of the late 1960s and one of the most widespread trainers of its class. It has served, and still serves, in dozens of countries and is popular with civilian operators and aerobatic teams as well.
The pre-painted etched parts refine above all the pilot's compartment (instrument panels, side consoles, straps) and add small external details. Separate the parts with a sharp knife, make the bends in a photo-etch bending tool and bond them with super glue or with glue for photo-etched parts. The color parts are printed and there is no point in overpainting them with varnish.
The photo-etched set is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
