The L-39ZA Albatros airbrakes (1:48) are a resin detail set from the manufacturer Aires for a faithful rendering of the open airbrakes of the trainer and light attack aircraft.

A resin detail set for experienced modelers, intended for models of the L-39ZA Albatros in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory that replaces the simplified plastic parts with faithfully made castings of the airbrakes and their bays. It makes it possible to show the brakes in the open position with detail that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
The airbrakes on the lower part of the fuselage of the Albatros extend both on the ground and in flight. The set adds fine relief of the panels, stiffeners and the inside of the bays, so that an open brake looks realistic. The set is intended for the ZA variant (the attack and reconnaissance version) in 1:48 scale.
First wash the parts to remove the residue of the mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up. Glue the resin only with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Use a primer before painting; the inside of the bays comes to life with shading and a fine wash.
This is a resin accessory set, not a complete kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
