M2 Browning with handles for aircraft 1:48 is a detail set of machine guns from Eduard, made by direct 3D printing, for adding hand-operated M2 Browning machine guns to aircraft models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set from the Eduard Brassin line brings faithfully rendered hand-operated M2 Browning machine guns with handles, intended for fitting to aircraft models in 1:48 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing with fine detail and replace the coarser plastic weapons. It is not an aircraft model but a universal accessory for defensive or flexible gun positions.
The M2 Browning of 12.7 mm caliber was among the most widely used heavy machine guns of the Second World War and of the postwar era. In aviation practice the version with handles appeared at hand-operated positions (for example waist, dorsal or tail gun positions) of many types. A faithful weapon with handles is a striking detail at open gun positions.
Separate the 3D-printed parts carefully from the print supports and wash off any residue. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and protect your airways while sanding. Spray the weapons with a primer and shade them with metallic tones; pick out the small handles carefully.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
