This product is a colored photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard holding pilot's seat belts made of fine steel (STEEL) for a plastic model of the Dassault Rafale C fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a cockpit accessory on its own, aimed only at the belts of the seat.
The steel seat belts are color-printed and, thanks to the properties of steel, they can be shaped realistically so that they drape naturally over the seat. They look truer than belts molded in plastic or printed on a decal and are one of the details that raises the impression of an open cockpit the most.
The belts are shaped into a natural drape, arranged into the seat and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Steel holds its shape better than softer brass photo-etch, so the folds you form stay in place.
This is an accessory, not the model itself. The base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
