The set contains a finely 3D-printed model of the six-barrel M61 Vulcan rotary cannon in 1:48 scale. It serves as an accessory for detailing models whose cannon is exposed or removed, or for dioramas with ground crew. It is not a standalone aircraft kit.
The M61 Vulcan is a six-barrel 20 mm rotary cannon with a high rate of fire, used as built-in armament on a number of jet fighters. A faithfully made barrel cluster with its drive is a rewarding detail, above all in open weapon bays and in scenes with armament.
Wash the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The thin barrels are fragile, so work carefully. A primer and metal paints will give a true steel look. Do the sanding with respiratory protection.
The set is an accessory, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
