The most complete variant of precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks in fine kabuki (washi) tape from the Czech manufacturer New Ware, intended for plastic models of the Soviet and Russian Kamov Ka-27 Helix shipboard helicopter in 1:48 scale. The set makes masking the extensive cockpit glazing markedly quicker and more accurate.
The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive stage. Besides the outer glazing surfaces it also covers masks for the inner sides of the cockpit windows, the frame seals, the landing gear wheels and other small details, which make a multi-color and faithful finish possible.
The Ka-27 Helix is a shipboard helicopter from the Kamov design bureau with its characteristic two coaxial contra-rotating rotors and no tail rotor. It serves above all for anti-submarine warfare and for search and rescue duties from the decks of warships.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
