A resin set of armament from the Brassin line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an airplane but a detail accessory, with which you will arm the plastic kit of a fighter aircraft. The set holds two Matra R-550 Magic air-to-air missiles filled out with adapters (the racks), photo-etched elements and decals with technical stencils.
The Matra R-550 Magic is a French air-to-air guided missile of short range with infrared guidance. It was developed as a counterpart of the American Sidewinder and a number of French and export combat aircraft carried it. It is marked out by a characteristic pair of front control surfaces and high agility in close maneuvering combat.
Wash the resin parts clean of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them together with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Glue the photo-etched fins on with glue laid on in a small amount. We recommend painting the missiles before seating them on the racks, applying the decals over a gloss varnish and fixing them with a matte over-coat.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
