This 3D printed resin Martin-Baker Type 9B Mk.3 ejection seat from the manufacturer Art Scale is intended for detailing the cockpit of models of the SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1/GR.1A attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The form is without molded safety belts, so that a modeler can fit photo-etched or fabric belts of his own. 3D printing ensures high crispness of detail. It is not a kit but a detail set.
The Martin-Baker Mk.9 is among the widespread British ejection seats; in the Type 9B Mk.3 version it was used in the Jaguar attack aircraft. A faithful replica of the seat markedly raises the realism of a cockpit.
Clean the part of the 3D printing supports and tidy it up. Glue with super glue. Paint the seat a dark color and pick the handles out differently; add the belts according to your own choice and accentuate the details with a wash and drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic model, glue, belts and paints are not included in the package.
