Eduard Me 410 masks 1:48 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the German Me 410 Hornisse heavy fighter. It gives crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the German twin-engined Messerschmitt Me 410 Hornisse heavy fighter. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The Messerschmitt Me 410 Hornisse is a German twin-engined multirole heavy fighter and fast bomber of the Second World War. It came about by improving the unsuccessful Me 210 and was deployed in the roles of bomber destroyer, fast bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. The two-seat cockpit with its extensive glazing is among the most demanding areas to paint.
Degrease the extensive cockpit glazing carefully. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them systematically onto the individual frames, pressing them into the edges. Finish off the transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats, so that it does not run under an edge. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once the paint has dried, peel them off carefully at a shallow angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
