A set of resin parts that replaces the plastic muzzles of the onboard armament on a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4 heavy night fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers. The cast muzzles have open bores and sharp edges of a kind that cannot be injection molded in plastic.
The set is made up of seven resin parts supplemented by photo-etched items and a decal sheet. The parts faithfully imitate the muzzles of the cannons and machine guns concentrated in the nose of the machine, which was among the most heavily armed German night fighters.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent and cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp craft knife. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bend the small photo-etched items in a photo-etch bending tool. The open bores come to life after a metal shade is sprayed on and lightly picked out with a wash.
This is an add-on set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
