A set of the SPACE range from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It combines layered 3D decals with pre-painted photo-etched parts in steel (STEEL). The decals reproduce the instrument panel, the side consoles and other cockpit details with a raised, three-dimensional effect, and the photo-etched parts add the seat belts and fine features. The set is meant for detailing the cockpit of a plastic Messerschmitt Me 262A model.

The real subject

The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe was the first jet fighter in the world put into combat service. It was powered by a pair of jet engines in nacelles under the wings and its performance surpassed the piston fighters of the day. The A version served as a fighter and as a fighter-bomber at the end of the Second World War.
