Resin 3D-printed magazines and case catchers for the MG 15 machine gun in 1:48 scale from Eduard. Fine armament accessories for aircraft models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail set, not an aircraft model. It brings a set of drum magazines and catchers for spent cases for the MG 15 aircraft machine gun, made by direct 3D printing in resin. They serve to enrich the interior and the defensive gun positions of German aircraft models.
The MG 15 was a German 7.92 mm aircraft machine gun used as a defensive weapon on board bombers and multipurpose aircraft. Its characteristic features were the saddle drum magazines and the canvas or wire catchers that collected the spent cases.
Wash the parts free of uncured print resin residue and separate them carefully from the print supports. Given how fine they are, work with tweezers and use a minimum of cyanoacrylate glue. Pick the metal parts out with a dark wash; for the canvas catchers a flat fabric shade works well to tie them together.
This is an accessory for plastic models. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
