A one-piece imitation of the chute that belonged to the installation of the twenty millimeter MG 151 cannon in German aircraft. AIMS offers it on its own, so it can be added even where a kit does not deal with this part of the weapon bay at all. In size it is a small thing, but on an exposed model it draws the eye.
The MG 151 in the twenty millimeter caliber was among the most widespread airborne weapons of the Luftwaffe from 1941 on. It appeared in the wings and in the fuselages of fighters, in the underfuselage gondolas of bombers and in defensive positions. That is exactly why its installation suits a wide range of subjects, from day fighters to twin-engine night hunters. The weapon was also mounted in underwing gondolas, with which the fire against bombing formations was reinforced.
Seat the part before you close up a fuselage or wing half, otherwise you will not get to the place later. The opening in the kit usually has to be widened slightly with a drill or a cutter; proceed in small steps and keep trying the fit. A metallic look is managed by a dark steel color complemented by fine polishing with a pencil lead.
There is one piece in the package. The paints and the glue do not belong with it.
