This set from the SPACE range of the Czech maker Eduard combines color 3D decals for the interior with a small steel photo-etched fret. It is not a model and not a kit, but a three-dimensional accessory intended to bring the cockpit of a Mi-17 model in 1:48 scale to life. The 3D decals carry pre-printed color and a fine relief, so the instrument panel and the side panels gain depth and legible detail without laborious painting.
First free the surface of dust and grease and cover it with a gloss coat. The parts are not self-adhesive: moisten only the backing paper, release the element and slide it onto the marked place, then fix it with PVA glue (white glue). Do not use a decal softener, as it would attack the print. Bend the steel belts and seat them over the seats. Tweezers and good lighting make the work easier. The set suits a build with the cabin open or partly uncovered, where the interior shows.
This is an accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
