A detail set from the SPACE line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an accessory for the cockpit of a model of the Mil Mi-4 helicopter. The set combines color three-dimensional 3D decals, which create a realistic instrument panel and side consoles, with steel photo-etched parts, among which there are usually seat belts and fine details.
The SPACE line replaces flat decals and simplified cockpit parts with layered 3D decals that have real depth and pre-printed color. The result is a noticeably more convincing interior with no need for laborious painting of the instruments. The set is intended for a model of the Mi-4 helicopter in the matching scale.
The 3D decals are applied to a clean, degreased surface, slid off the backing like a waterslide decal and pressed down gently. Do not use a decal softener on them, as it attacks the printed resin. Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, bend them over an edge and bond them with super glue. We recommend working patiently and letting each layer dry thoroughly.
