About product

Correct radome MiG-21MF 1:48 (Quickboost)

This is NOT an airplane model but a small detail set from the manufacturer Quickboost in 1:48 scale. It brings a correctly shaped radome (the forward antenna cover) of the Soviet MiG-21MF fighter, which replaces the less accurate nose of the kit and so corrects the characteristic silhouette of the front end.

What the set is for

The radome strongly affects the profile of an aircraft, so correcting it is among the visible improvements to a model. Quickboost is a line of simple, quickly fitted resin parts that even a less experienced modeler can manage.

Usage tips

Wash the part to remove the mold release agent, cut it from the casting block and glue it to the fuselage with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Fill and gently sand the transition to the fuselage as needed, then spray it with primer.

Who the set is for

  • modelers of the MiG-21 in 1:48 scale
  • builders who are bothered by the shape of the kit nose
  • anyone interested in a quick resin improvement

The set is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
