About product

MiG-21MF - gun pod, late version 1:48 (Quickboost)

This is not an airplane kit but a resin detail accessory from Quickboost. The set brings an underslung gun pod in the late version for models of the MiG-21MF fighter in 1:48 scale. Quickboost is a line of quick replacement parts cast in resin.

What the accessory is for

The gun pod is a one-piece resin casting with clean detail that replaces the less detailed part from the box. Fitting is simple - cut it off, clean it up, glue it on and paint it.

Usage tips

  • Wash the casting to remove the mold release agent.
  • Cut off the casting block and level the mating surface.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • Apply a primer before painting; protect your breathing while sanding.

Who the accessory is for

  • Builders of MiG-21MF models who want more faithful armament.
  • Modelers looking for a quick improvement without demanding work.

The accessory is supplied unpainted, as a resin casting. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
