The set from Quinta Studio faithfully upgrades the pilot's compartment of the Soviet high-altitude reconnaissance and bomber aircraft. The colored 3D decals are printed on decal backing paper, they have real depth and color and they are applied by the wet method. The added 3D-printed resin parts fill in the most three-dimensional elements of the cockpit.
The MiG-25 in its RB/RBT form was the reconnaissance-bomber version of the famous fast Soviet aircraft capable of high speeds and altitudes. It grew out of the fighter platform and carried reconnaissance and navigation equipment. The distinctive cockpit is one of the striking features of the model.
Cut the part out of the sheet, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 kind; on broken surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts and glue them with super glue.
This is an aftermarket accessory (a 3D decal with resin parts), not a kit. The model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
