This product is NOT an aircraft model but a detailing replacement part, a resin ejection seat for the MiG-29A fighter in 1:48 scale from Quickboost (Aires). The casting faithfully captures the shape of the seat including molded seat belts and replaces the simplified seat from a plastic kit, which markedly raises the level of cockpit detail. It is an accessory for advanced modelers.

Use

• First wash the part in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove the mold release agent residue
• Cut the casting block off the casting with a saw or a sharp knife and sand the cut
• Glue the seat with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin
• Before gluing, check the fit in the cockpit of the target kit and adjust the seating faces if necessary; once painted and weathered it replaces the kit seat

Resin dust is harmful to health, so sand the parts wet and with respiratory protection. Use cyanoacrylate glue in a well-ventilated area. Keep out of the reach of children.
