The MiG-21 is a single-seat fighter with a delta wing which became one of the most widespread combat aircraft of its day; the allies gave it the code name Fishbed. The SMT version can be told by the markedly enlarged dorsal spine behind the cockpit, which took more fuel and equipment. That very feature makes the SMT an easily recognized machine among the MiG-21s.

First compare the parts with the model dry and only then make adjustments. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the rest off. Wash and degrease the surface before painting, or the paint will not hold. Choose the glue to suit the material of the parts: an ordinary modeling cement will only join polystyrene, and for other materials use super glue. The box holds accessory parts only. A kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
