This product is not a helicopter model but a complete 3D-printed cockpit for the Mi-24V / Mi-35 attack helicopter in 1:48 scale from Eduard. The PRINT & SPACE range combines parts from direct 3D printing in resin with SPACE technology, that is, with color 3D decals for the instrument panels and supplementary photo-etch. The interior is executed in the black matching the later Mi-35 machines.
It replaces the simplified plastic cockpit of the base kit with a finely rendered 3D-printed assembly: the cockpit tubs, the seats, the side consoles and the instrument panels. The color SPACE 3D decals give the instruments a three-dimensional, legible look with no laborious hand painting. Check the exact part count in the instructions in the box.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the resin 3D-printed parts, separate them carefully from the support structures and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply the color 3D decals to a degreased surface as the instructions describe. The accessory is meant for more experienced modelers.
The accessory requires a base plastic Mi-24 kit in 1:48 scale (typically Eduard or Zvezda), which is not included in the package. Glue and paints are not enclosed.
