This product is not a helicopter model but a 3D printed resin cockpit detail set for experienced modelers in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It replaces the basic cockpit of a plastic kit of the Mil Mi-24V attack helicopter with finely detailed parts produced by modern direct 3D printing. The interior is in the turquoise finish that matches the color of the cockpits of Soviet machines.
The set adds faithful instrument panels, side panels, seats and other equipment of the pilot's and the operator's cockpits, which go far beyond the detail of injection-molded plastic. It is designed to be built into the matching plastic Mi-24V kit; before buying, check that the set fits your particular kit.
First wash the uncured print resin residue off the resin and 3D printed parts, carefully cut off the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding and cutting, and do not inhale resin dust. Paint the small parts in subassemblies, ideally with an airbrush.
This is a resin detail set (3D printed), not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
