Eduard steel photo-etched belts for the Mil Mi-8MT in 1:48 scale are a small add-on for the cabin of the helicopter, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a kit but a small photo-etched set of seat belts for 1:48 scale. The STEEL designation in the name means that the belts are made of steel, not of a softer etched material. That is a practical difference: steel photo-etch holds its shape, so once you have bent it into a natural fall over the seat, it stays as you left it. That is precisely what makes belts convincing on a model.
Seat belts are a small thing that everyone who looks into the cabin notices on a finished model, and yet kits mostly do not contain them at all, or handle them only with a hinted relief on the seat. A photo-etched set addresses that shortcoming directly and it is one of the simplest ways to improve the impression of the interior markedly. Check the exact number of parts and the target kit on the box of the set.
Cut the parts out with a scalpel on a hard surface; never break them out. Steel photo-etch is stiffer, so make the bends crisply and slowly, ideally with tweezers with smooth jaws. They are bonded with super glue in a really minimal amount. Fit the belts only after the seats are painted; you get a natural shape by letting them fall freely over the edge of the seat and ripple slightly, as straight belts look artificial.
The add-on is supplied as a photo-etched fret, not as a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
