This accessory is not an aircraft kit but a detailed resin insert for the cockpit. It contains an ejection seat with faithfully cast seat belts, intended for models of the Mirage III fighter and its Israeli derivative the IAI Kfir in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified plastic seat from the kit and fundamentally lifts the look of an open cockpit.
The Dassault Mirage III was a French supersonic fighter with a characteristic delta wing. The Israeli IAI Kfir is based on it structurally but differs in its powerplant and in a number of changes to the airframe. In both cases the pilot's compartment with its ejection seat is clearly visible.
Wash the part free of mold release agent residue, separate it from the casting block and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The cast belts come to life once painted and lightly picked out with a wash.
