Cannon barrels and fuselage machine guns A6M2 Zero 1:48 is a 3D printed detail set from the maker Eduard, the Brassin range, for faithful armament on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory detail set, not a model. It contains the barrels of the wing cannon and the fuselage machine guns for building the Japanese A6M2 Zero fighter in 1:48 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing and replace the original plastic parts of the armament.
Thin barrels and muzzles are among the most visible details, and it is there that injection-molded plastic runs into its limits. The 3D printed parts offer a sharper and more accurate shape and are easy to fit in place of the kit parts.
Separate the parts from the print supports with a sharp knife, clean them up gently and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Handle the thin barrels carefully so that they do not bend. Degrease the surface and apply a primer before gluing and painting.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
