Seat belts for the seat designated Mk-5 in 1:48 scale, produced by 3D printing. An accessory for the cabin of an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Seat belts are among the elements a viewer notices first in an open cabin. Kits, however, often deal with them by nothing more than a shallow relief on the seat, or leave them out altogether. This set brings belts for the seat carried under the designation Mk-5, worked out in 1:48 scale and produced by 3D printing. It therefore takes the place of a flat suggestion with an element that has a thickness of its own and casts a shadow.
Seats differ between kits in the shape and the width of the backrest, so offer the elements up dry first and check whether they fit the seat you have. Carefully trim the original molded belts off the part and sand the surface smooth, otherwise the new layer will not sit down. The space around the seat is best finished before you close the fuselage up, because afterward you will no longer get into the cabin.
Before application, check in the manufacturer's instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive. The method of application differs between individual lines, so set about the work only once you are sure how the elements are seated. If you are gluing the elements, apply super glue in drops with the tip of a pin and take hold of them with tweezers with fine points. A belt benefits from being given a slight bend with the fingers, so that it does not look like a stuck-on strip. Degrease the surfaces before fitting.
The subject of sale is these elements. The kit, the seat, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
