A resin figure of an American fighter pilot in a seated position, meant for the cockpit of a P-51D Mustang model in 1:48. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory. A seated figure is the only way to give life to a finished model with the canopy closed, because an empty cockpit makes even the best built machine look like an exhibit.
Cut the parts off the casting blocks with a fine saw and sand the cut surface. Wash the resin in lukewarm water with detergent before painting, because of the mold release residue. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Always try the figure in the cockpit dry first and adjust its lower part if need be, so that both the seat and the canopy sit down. Paint it separately and fit it into the cockpit at the very end. A life vest and straps in a contrasting color will give the figure depth.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
