This is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail accessory from the Quickboost range. The set brings an air intake for models of the American Curtiss P-40B Warhawk fighter in 1:48 scale. The resin casting offers a crisper shape and a cleaner intake opening than injection-molded plastic.
The intake above the engine is a striking identifying feature of the P-40. The replacement resin part improves both the shape and the depth of the intake and quickly lifts the look of the front of the model.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as a resin casting. Paints, glue and the basic kit are not included in the package.
