A detail set from the LööK range for improving the cockpit of a model of the American Republic P-47D Thunderbolt fighter in the bubbletop version in 1:48 scale. The set brings together two elements ready to be fitted straight away: a color-printed resin instrument panel and photo-etched steel (STEEL) seat belts. The instrument panel is made by a technology that combines resin with color printing, so it has realistic dials and depth with no painting needed. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory that replaces the plastic cockpit parts.

Use

• Replace the original plastic instrument panel from the model with the resin one from this set.
• Cut the resin part off the casting block and glue it on with cyanoacrylate glue.
• Shape the steel belts and fit them to the seat; the metal holds the shape of the buckles and the sag of the webbing well.
• Thanks to the pre-printed coloring there is no need to paint the instrument panel or the belts.
