The P-51 Mustang was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War, famous for its long range thanks to drop tanks. In the wing it carried a battery of 12.7 mm Browning heavy machine guns. A model with the gun bays exposed recalls a scene of maintenance and servicing on an airfield.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Open bays call for reworking the plastic parts of the base kit by cutting them out.
