Eduard P-51B/C/D Mustang seat Type 3 PRINT 1:48 is a 3D printed resin replacement for the pilot seat for models of the P-51 Mustang fighter. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory.

This is a 3D printed resin pilot seat of the Type 3 form in 1:48 scale from the workshop of the Czech maker Eduard. The set serves as a direct replacement for the plastic seat out of the box and markedly raises the level of cockpit detail. The seat is printed with modern direct 3D printing technology, so it carries fine rendering of the frame and the padding. Belts printed in color with etched parts are usually included.
The seat replaces the corresponding part on models of the North American P-51 Mustang fighter in the B, C and D versions. Thanks to crisper detail and a realistic rendering of the belts, the cockpit comes into its own far better once the canopy is open. Type 3 refers to the particular form of seat used on these versions of the Mustang.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent residue in lukewarm soapy water. Cut any casting block off carefully and sand the area with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before fitting, it is best to paint the seat and the belts with an airbrush and pick the details out with a wash.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
