Panavia Tornado GR.1 LööK 1:48 is a set of the LööK line from Eduard: a ready-made instrument panel with imitation glazed dials plus steel seat belts. Not a kit, not a mask, not a full photo-etched set.

The LööK line is Eduard's answer to the question of how to get the maximum effect into a cockpit for the minimum of work. The instrument panel comes as a ready-made three-dimensional part with the instruments rendered in color and with imitation glass, so it has the depth and sheen that flat photo-etch or a decal cannot manage. Seat belts in the STEEL form come with the panel; they hold their shape once bent and can be draped naturally over a seat. LööK differs from a full photo-etched set in its extent — it does not deal with the whole interior, but in a targeted way with the most visible part; and it has nothing to do with the masks for the glazing that Eduard sells separately.
The Panavia Tornado was a European combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in cooperation between several states. The GR.1 version was the British strike variant intended to penetrate to the target at low altitude and high speed. It is a two-seat machine where the pilot and the navigator sit in tandem — which means two sets of instruments and, accordingly, more visible interior than a single-seat aircraft has.
Sand the molded relief of the panel off the plastic parts, so that the new part seats flush. Wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water before fitting. Glue with super glue in the smallest of amounts and let it air freely — its fumes can fog the glossy surface of the imitation glass. Fold the belts gradually and run them loosely, not taut like a string. The panel is ready-made and does not have to be painted; the only work worth doing is gently touching in the edges of the belts after cutting.
It is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
