Propellers with a jig PV-1 Ventura 1:48 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:48 scale from Quickboost. It is not an airplane model but a detail part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin propellers for the American Lockheed PV-1 Ventura patrol bomber in 1:48 scale. A jig is included that makes it easier to line the blades up at the right angle while gluing. It is an aftermarket detail part that will replace the plastic propellers from the base kit, not a standalone airplane model.
The Lockheed PV-1 Ventura was an American twin-engine patrol and bomber aircraft of the Second World War, used above all by the Navy. It was powered by a pair of Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engines. It was sent on patrols over the ocean, on anti-submarine work and on bombing missions.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. Use the jig supplied to get all the propeller blades to sit at the same angle; check the seating of the hubs dry before gluing.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
