Building and painting tips

Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remnant carefully, so that the surrounding detail does not disappear. Before gluing and painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry thoroughly; a degreased surface holds paint considerably better. Use cyanoacrylate glue to join them, as it bonds even materials that cement for polystyrene does not act on. Paint small parts before seating them on the model, as on a finished assembly a brush will not reach them.
