An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian carrier-based multirole fighter MiG-29K in 1:48 scale from the maker Hobby Boss. It is a modern tooling rich in parts, complemented by photo-etched parts and rubber tires. The model captures the carrier form of the Fulcrum with a strengthened structure and features for operating from an aircraft carrier.
The MiG-29K is the carrier development of the MiG-29 fighter intended for operation from an aircraft carrier. Compared with the land-based version it has strengthened landing gear, an arrestor hook and folding wings to save space on deck. It serves as a multirole machine capable of air combat as well as attacks on ground and surface targets and operates from a heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser.
Finish and paint the cockpit before the fuselage is closed and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Mask the clear canopy and glue it on after painting. The folding carrier wings can be presented spread out for a striking deck scene. Fit the stores according to the scheme at the end; treat the surface with a primer and apply the paints with an airbrush in thin coats.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
